With its long-wheelbase layout, Limited specification and generous interior space, it's a brilliant starting point for something rather special.

We're bringing together clever design, quality craftsmanship and a few thoughtful touches to create a four-berth campervan that's as comfortable on a weekend escape as it is on a proper adventure.

And the best bit? It's still taking shape.

With the final upholstery, interior finishes and alloy wheels yet to be selected, there's an opportunity to put your own stamp on this build.

The long-wheelbase Transit Custom offers more room to stretch out, relax and enjoy life on the road, without sacrificing the practicality of a campervan that's easy to live with.

A Drivelodge pop-top roof will provide additional headroom and a comfortable sleeping area upstairs, while a rock-and-roll bed downstairs transforms the living space into somewhere cosy to settle down after a day exploring.

Together, they create a practical four-berth layout that's ideal for couples, families or anyone who likes having a little extra space.

Swivel seating will help create a sociable living area, perfect for morning coffees, rainy-day card games or simply putting your feet up and enjoying the view.

And because this camper is still in build, the final upholstery and interior colour scheme are yet to be decided.

This Transit Custom will feature a well-equipped kitchen with a 12V 50-litre fridge, two-burner gas hob, microwave oven (operating on 240V hook-up), sink and onboard fresh water supply.

Whether you're cooking breakfast beside a Highland loch or rustling up something tasty at the campsite, you'll have everything you need close at hand.

The extra space offered by the long-wheelbase layout also makes everyday campervan living that little bit more comfortable.

A little freedom from the hook-up.

Fancy spending a night somewhere a little more remote?

With a roof-mounted solar panel, leisure battery system and onboard power management, this camper will offer short-term off-grid capability, giving you a little extra freedom to explore beyond the usual campsites.

And when the Scottish weather does its thing, the Autotherm diesel night heater will help keep things cosy.
