Rainy days can happen on any holiday, but they don't have to ruin your campervan trip. There are plenty of things you can do to stay entertained in your Campervan and have fun, even when the weather isn't cooperating.
We’ve put together some ideas for things you and your group can do even while it’s chucking it down!
Indoor Attractions
If the weather isn’t complying, take your holiday indoors. Have a look and see if there’s anything near you where you can escape from the rain- museums, art galleries, cinemas and shopping centres are great options depending on who you’re travelling with!
If there’s no local indoor attractions near you, then why not hunt down a pub or a cafe? Enjoy some food and drink, chat about your trip, and even play some games if you’re able!
Have Fun in your Campervan
If you’re stuck in your campervan with nowhere to go, that’s fine! There’s plenty you can do to pass the time.
Get crafty and use your campervan as a base for some arts and crafts. Bring along some supplies, such as paints, markers, and paper, and let your imagination run wild, or if you don’t have this on hand, find a nearby store where you can buy some.
Board games, card games, and video games are all great ways to pass the time on a rainy day. Or, if you want a more quiet activity, why not just get cosy and read a book or watch a movie?
Failing all that, why not just lie down and have a little nap, enjoying the sound of the rain on your campervan roof.
No matter what you choose to do, make the most of your time on your campervan holiday, even if the weather isn't ideal. A little bit of planning can go a long way, and you'll be surprised at how much fun you can have, even in the rain.
